Notes regarding hanging artwork in the gallery.
The Frauenthal Reception Gallery utilizes the Walker Display System when hanging artwork.
The system uses metal brackets clamped to a vertical rod that are movable and hang from aluminum moldings at the top of the ceiling.
Because the vertical rods are only attached at the top of the wall, pieces that are top-heavy or lean out into the room tend to be unbalanced and will pull away from the wall.
We highly recommend you consult with us before submitting an entry that requires any special mechanism for hanging.
You MUST have your artwork ready to hang (or display accordingly) when it is dropped off.
